Inspired by the construction of a lined kimono (awase), this Uramasari Denim Worker Long Coat combines heritage craftsmanship with modern durability. The outer shell is made from robust 9 oz denim—built to handle the daily grind and weekend escapes alike. Inside, the hakkake (lining) reveals a deep indigo base woven with silver or light-colored threads, forming the classic asanoha pattern.
The asanoha, or hemp-leaf motif, has been cherished in Japan for centuries as a symbol of resilience, vitality, and steady growth. Together, the tough denim exterior and symbolic lining create a piece that works as hard as you do—while carrying a story of tradition, strength, and style.
